This site is just being set up as a mini-exhibition of drawings, illustrations and other work.

Part-time degree classes helped me to recognize that what I really love to do is draw; line is all important. It has been fun discovering that other people think the same way.

Humour has always been essential in my life and I grew up with the New Yorker cartoons. I am not the youngest illustrator around, in fact I probably skew the age curve of Illustrator Friday participants to the point of distortion, but I feel this allows me to laugh at my own jokes.

I also love materials, ink, oil sticks, pastels and so on and relish mixing any number of these; on the other hand I also like simple line drawings.

    I super dooper love your “Hoard” illustration. The lines have a lot of energy and are really vibrant, and also it’s got a fabulous composition.

    Very very great drawings.

    To find you I googled for “WordPress cartoons” and so I got a listing. I scrolled down that list and looked for the best avatar. Yours made me hope there was something, but the drawing is too small, does not even fill out half the avatar!
